Hoda H. Maarouf, MD, FACOG, attended the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine, and received her medical degree in 2000. She stayed on at the American University of Beirut to complete a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology (2000-2004). To advance her training, Dr. Maarouf relocated to the United States, where she conducted a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia (2005-2010). While there, she has received Best Teacher Award, Best Surgeon Award, Best Resident Award, and Best Research Award. In addition, Dr. Maarouf received board certification in in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Moreover, she attained fellowship of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists having met the standards and guidelines required of the nation’s leading OBGYN physicians.
